Did we have a lot of fun or what? The Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club held their Guts & Glory competitions on Saturday August 28th, 2010 and included an afternoon of 9 metre dragon boat races in the new Champion 10 paddler dragon boats. Everybody paddled like crazy and made those beauties just fly! And everybody started making plans for the 9 metre races for next year (2011).

We heard you! Almost everyone told us they wanted to race the 9 meter boats (especially the ones who took them out for a paddle).

We are working hard to get organizers to include the 9 meter races in their schedules.

Please help us. Send us an email or letter or call and tell us your club wants to race these boats. We already have dozens of teams that want these races; the more teams we have, the more likely the organizers will want to set them up.
